About the Toy Library

Volunteers needed

We are closing on

November 27th 2015 in

our current venue and re-opening in Ewshot on Monday January 11th 2016.

Details to follow......

The Toy Library is a weekly playgroup session that runs on Friday mornings during term time. The Toy Library also lends good quality developmental toys and offers party packages. There are refreshments available for adults, snacks for children, craft activities, lots of toys to play with and we finish each session with singing and instruments. It is run by volunteers, who are all local parents or carers of young children. We are a non profit making organisation and every penny we receive pays for our running costs and replacing and updating the toys.

The Toy Library meets every term time Friday from 10am to 11.30am. in the Hale Institute Hall, Wings Road, Upper Hale Road, Farnham, GU9 0HN (ending Nov 27th in Hale and moving premises to Ewshot Jan 2016).

Membership is £2.00 per family per year. Weekly admission fee is £2.50 per family.

Entry is free for parents on the volunteer rota setting up and clearing away (we begin setting up at 9.15 a.m. and are usually finished clearing away by 12 noon).

Toys are borrowed for £2 each per week (a few larger items are slightly more).

As toys can be reserved, please ensure you are able to bring them back the following week.
